July 2023 Update

During the month of July, our mission teams embarked on a fulfilling journey to Vicente Guerrero, BC Mexico, where we successfully distributed 260 pairs of shoes to various communities and churches in need. We also had our team in Uganda giving out shoes with Eagle’s Nest Ministries.

One interesting little bit of information is that all the churches that participated were located in Arizona. Through collaboration and coordination with these churches, we were able to identify individuals and families who would benefit greatly from receiving new pairs of shoes. The generosity and support of these churches and their shoe sponsors, played a crucial role in making these missions a success. In addition to the shoe donation, our teams engaged in construction of a building for an afterschool care program and painting activities at our facility. This hands-on work allowed us to connect with the local community and make a lasting impact on their lives.

One of the highlights of our mission was the opportunity to assist Angelina in building a new afterschool program facility. This team was comprised of all women! They learned a lot of new skills and had a lot of fun. This project not only empowered Angelina but also provided a brighter future for the students who would benefit from the new afterschool program facility.

Throughout our mission, we experienced a great sense of fulfillment and joy. Witnessing the smiles on the faces of those who received the donated shoes was indescribable! Our team's dedication and hard work made a tangible difference in the lives of the individuals and communities we served.

As we reflect on this mission, we are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact and extend our heartfelt thanks to all the churches in Arizona that participated in the shoe sponsorship. We also express our gratitude to Angelina for allowing us to be a part of her journey!

This mission served as a reminder of the power of collective action and the importance of lending a helping hand to those in need. We look forward to future endeavors where we can continue to make a difference and bring hope to communities in need.

In Uganda, our team experienced a real adventure, journeying through the varied terrain by van, boat, and even hopping on boda bodas, the local motorcycles. We teamed up with the awesome folks at Eagle's Nest Ministries and spent our day generously handing out shoes, sharing laughter with the local kids, and enjoying a meal together. You could say everyone had an absolute blast!
